Human Frequency is a series of non-realist figurative paintings. The distorted figures seem to struggle in their own spaces perhaps unconscious of their own frequencies, represented by bold bands or fine lines of contrasting colour. 

 

The figures, in various stages of formation or deformation, unable to avoid the proximity of their frequencies, become affected not only in feeling but in how they form and grow. 

 

´I became profoundly interested in how totally alone we all are in our own human experience. In how deeper influences not only affect us but are the only routes for growth. I wondered if a personal frequency that we are each tuned into, either consciously or not, is affecting not only how we feel and behave but who are and become.’
